Data Deletion

Last updated: 4 October 2026

You can ask us to delete the information Brige Ship holds about you. This page says how to ask, what goes, what we are obliged to keep, and how long it takes.

01Who can ask

An owner of a Brige Ship account can ask for that account’s data to be deleted. A buyer whose parcel was shipped through Brige Ship can ask about their own delivery details — see section 6.

02How to ask

Write to us from the email address on the account, with the business name and, if you have one, a recent order or tracking number. We may ask one or two questions to confirm it is really you before we delete anything — deletion cannot be undone, and acting on an unverified request would be worse than refusing it.

03What we delete

04What we must keep, and why

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Indian law requires us to hold them or because they are the evidence behind money that has moved:

What we keep is locked down: it is no longer used to operate anything, and it is not used for marketing. When its period ends it is deleted.

05Courier credentials

You do not need to write to anyone to remove these. Disconnect the account from Setup → Logistics and the keys are deleted immediately. Parcels already booked on it keep tracking, because the record of the parcel is not the same thing as the key.

06If you are a buyer

Your delivery details reached us from the merchant you ordered from, and they belong to that merchant — we hold them on their behalf. Ask them first. If you write to us with the tracking number, we will identify the merchant, pass the request on, act on their instruction, and reply to you either way.

07How long it takes

We acknowledge a request within 48 hours and complete it within 30 days. If something has to be kept under section 4, we will tell you exactly what, why, and when it will go.
